IF I USE A CREDIT CARD ISSUED IN ARGENTINA, HOW MUCH WILL I PAY?

IF YOU PAY ON OUR WEBSITE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CHOOSE ‘MERCADO PAGO’ AS PAYMENT METHOD. THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO PAY IN LOCAL CURRENCY AND TO AVOID THE COUNTRY TAX FOR FOREIGN CURRENCY. ALL PAYMENTS IN PESOS WILL INCLUDE A 21% VAT FEE AS WELL AS A ‘MERCADO PAGO’ EXTRACTION FEE. IF YOU PAY IN PESOS WITH A FOREIGN CURRENCY, VAT CANNOT BE DEDUCTED; FOREIGN GUESTS SHOULD CHOOSE ‘STRIPE’ IN ORDER TO AVOID THE 21% VAT FEE.

YES, OF COURSE! YOU’LL FIND OUR LISTINGS ON AIRBNB, BOOKING.COM, VRBO, TRIPADVISOR, MARRIOT HOMES & VILLAS AND OTHER CHANNELS. PLEASE CONSIDER THAT, IN ANY OF THESE CHANNELS, YOU WILL PAY AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE FEE OR A HIGHER PRICE FROM FLIPHAUS.COM

WILL I PAY A SECURITY DEPOSIT?

FOR ALL OUR PROPERTIES WE REQUEST A SECURITY DEPOSIT BETWEEN USD 50 AND USD 800 DEPENDING ON THE SIZE AND CAPACITY OF THE PROPERTY. THIS DEPOSIT IS WITHHELD FROM YOUR CREDIT CARD UP TO 14 DAYS AFTER CHECK OUT. IF WE FIND ANY MISSING INVENTORY, WE WILL NOTIFY YOU AND DEBIT BASED ON OUR PRICE LIST. THE SECURITY DEPOSIT IS RETURNED AUTOMATICALLY BY OUR APP’S SYSTEM. GUESTS WILL RECIEVE A VERIFICATION EMAIL ONCE THE PAYMENT IS RETURNED.

IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE PRICE OF THE PROPERTIES VARIES BASED ON THE NUMBER OF GUESTS?

IS THERE AN EXTRA FEE FOR PETS?

CORRECT; PETS PAY AN ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEE THAT VARIES UPON THE SIZE OF THE PROPERTY BETWEEN USD 15 TO USD50 PER STAY. THIS FEE IS REQUESTED TO GUARANTEE CLEANLINESS AND SANITATION IN ALL OUR PROPERTIES. WE ACCEPT A MAXIMUM OF 2 PETS PER STAY.

SHOULD I PRESENT AN IDENTITY DOCUMENT OR PASSPORT?

ACCORDING TO THE CURRENT LAWS FOR TEMPORARY RENTALS IN THE CITY OF BUENOS AIRES, ALL GUESTS MUST PRESENT THEIR DOCUMENT OR PASSPORT TO BE REGISTERED IN THE GUEST BOOK. THIS IS A CONDITION, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, THAT APPLIES TO ALL GUESTS, REGARDLESS OF THE CHANNEL THROUGH WHICH THEY BOOK (OUR WEBSITE, AIRBNB, BOOKING.COM, VRBO OR OTHER).

WHAT IS THE FLIPHAUS CANCELLATION POLICY?

IF GUESTS CANCEL AT LEAST 30 DAYS PRIOR TO CHECK-IN, THEY RECEIVE A FULL REFUND. THEY CAN ALSO GET A FULL REFUND WITHIN 1 HOUR OF BOOKING IF THE CANCELLATION OCCURS AT LEAST 14 DAYS BEFORE CHECK-IN. IF THEY CANCEL BETWEEN 7 AND 30 DAYS BEFORE CHECK-IN, YOU RECEIVE THE AMOUNT CORRESPONDING TO 50% OF ALL NIGHTS. IF THEY CANCEL LESS THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE CHECK IN, WE WILL CHARGE 100% OF ALL NIGHTS.

WHAT IS THE FLIPHAUS DATE CHANGE POLICY?

NO TYPE OF DATE CHANGE IS ALLOWED TO SHORTEN YOUR STAY. IN CASE YOU ARE AFFECTED BY THIS POLICY, WE SUGGEST YOU CANCEL THE RESERVATION, AS LONG AS YOU ARE WITHIN THE DEADLINES TO RECEIVE A TOTAL OR PARTIAL REFUND. IF YOU WANT TO EXTEND YOUR STAY, YOU CAN CONTACT YOUR HOST TO MAKE THE CORRESPONDING CHANGE AND SEND YOU THE PAYMENT COUPON.

HOW IS THE CHECK IN PROCESS?

WE REQUEST OUR GUESTS TO DOWNLOAD OUR BRAND NEW APP TO VERIFY THEIR IDENTITIES AND TO PAY THE SECURITY DEPOSIT. IN THIS APP, GUESTS WILL RECIEVE THEIR CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS 1 HOUR BEFORE THE REGULAR CHECK IN TIME. IF THEY WANT TO CHECK IN PRIOR THAT TIME, THEY CAN REQUEST AN EARLY CHECK IN ON THE APP, AS WELL AS LATE CHECK OUT AND OTHER ADDITIONAL SERVICES AS PARKING, CELANING, TRANSPORT OR LAUNDRY COINS. GUESTS WILL NEED A CELPHONE NUMBER WHERE THEY CAN RECIEVE A VERIFICATION SMS.
